Following the recent decision of the EBU General Assembly to permit Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, DailyVision wishes to reaffirm its longstanding editorial stance. In line with our publication standards and guidelines, we have consistently opposed Israel’s participation in the contest while the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues unabated.

Since 2020, DailyVision has proudly covered the Eurovision Song Contest, celebrating its spirit of unity, cultural exchange, and collaboration. We believe deeply in the values that Eurovision represents. However, we also believe that allowing participation from any nation engaged in ongoing humanitarian violations stands in contradiction to both the rules and the spirit of the contest.

Regrettably, in light of the EBU’s decision, we have concluded that we can no longer continue our coverage in good conscience. Therefore, DailyVision will be terminating all coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest and EBU events. Our final coverage will conclude with the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and all Eurovision-related reporting will cease on 14 December 2025.

The DailyVision website will remain online, and while active Eurovision coverage will end, we maintain hope that one day circumstances will change, allowing the contest to once again reflect its founding ideals of unity rather than division. Should that day come, we would gladly return to covering a competition we have cherished for many years.

We thank our readers for their support, passion, and trust throughout our Eurovision journey.
