RTVE and the EBU have confirmed the hosts for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which is set to be held in Madrid in November.

Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Clotet and Melani Garcia will host the show live from the Caja Magica in Madrid on 17 November 2024.

Ruth Lorenzo is most well known in Eurovision circles as Spains’ entrant into the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 where she sang “Dancing in the Rain”.

Melani Garcia is a former Junior Eurovision entrant – she represented Spain on their return to the competition in 2019 after a 13-year absence and finished in third place with her song “Marte”.

Marc Clotet is a name unfamiliar in Eurovision circles however, he is a well-known actor in Spain and recently was nominated for Best New Actor at the Goya Awards.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be broadcast live on November 16th from Madrid and is set to feature seventeen countries – among them are the returning Cyprus and San Marino, the only country that will not be returning from last year is the United Kingdom.

So far eight countries, including the host country, have confirmed their acts for the competition but none have yet released their full songs – we have however, had snippets of songs from both Germany and San Marino.

Most countries will have selected and released their song before the end of September and then we will know which young superstars will be competing for the victory in the Spanish capital in November.
