This is genuinely one of my favourite studio cuts of the year this is an artistic song that takes you on a musical journey, the slow build will not be to everyone’s taste and I’m certain there are plenty of people who dislike the fact that the final third of the song is the same line that is repeated but I find that while it is a slow build the climax makes it all worthwhile. I am slightly concerned about how this is going to be staged as in the past Belgium has sent songs that I love in the studio (both Sennek and Eliot) but have failed to impress with the staging, it is also a massive concern to me that I disliked Belgium’s 2022 staging meaning that the last time I felt RTBF had a complete performance at the contest was seven years ago so I just hope and pray that they have nailed it this time.
