The 71st Eurovision Song Contest comes to Burgas, Bulgaria, from May 11-15, 2027 — the first time the competition has been held in the country. Bulgaria earned hosting rights after singer DARA’s win with “Bangaranga” at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.

Three live shows will take place at Arena Burgas, a 15,000-seat venue on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast: two semifinals on May 11 and May 13, followed by the grand final on May 15. Burgas, Bulgaria’s fourth-largest city, was chosen by the European Broadcasting Union and Bulgarian National Television over Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna after a competitive bidding process.
