As has been reported by eurovision-spain later today (Tuesday) the EBU and RTVE will present the final list of participants in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 which is set to take place in Madrid, Spain in November.
Participants list
It is now expected that the participant’s list will contain 17 countries which will be an increase of one from the previous year.
The United Kingdom (BBC) has withdrawn from the competition after two years of participating while Cyprus (CyBC) has returned after a six-year absence and – as has been widely reported over the past 24 hours – San Marino (SMRTV) will return after an eight-year absence.
The expected participant list is therefore as follows:

- France – France Televisions
- Georgia – GPB
- Germany – NDR/Kika
- Ireland – TG4
- Italy – RAI
- Malta – PBS

- Poland – TVP
- Portugal – RTP
- San Marino – SMRTV
- Spain – RTVE
- Ukraine – UA:PBC
Slogan and theme art
It is also reported that alongside the participants list the slogan and theme art for the competition will be confirmed.
eurovision-spain has also reported that the official slogan for the event will be “Let’s Bloom” and that both the slogan and theme art will take nature as a reference but will also focus on the idea of the events allowing young artists to bloom and blossom towards a future where they can express themselves freely.
