Despite earlier confirming that they would not participate it appears that the San Marinanese broadcaster has had a change of heart and will now participate in the competition after all.
While this is at the time of writing their return has not been officially confirmed it is being widely reported by eurovision-spain that the country will appear on the final list of participants when it is published by the EBU.
If this does come to fruition it will be the country’s first participation in Junior Eurovision since 2015.
It is widely expected that the list of participants in the competition will be published today (3rd September) and will feature seventeen countries an increase of one from the previous edition with the United Kingdom withdrawing and Cyprus and San Marino returning to the competition.
Junior Eurovision 2024 is set to take place in Madrid in November.
