The EBU have announced a new qualifier reveal format for Eurovision 2025.
While the changes had been speculated about previously, they have now been officially confirmed by the EBU during a media briefing.
For the first nine qualifiers to be announced, three acts at a time will be shown on the screen, and one will be announced as a qualifier – the ones that are not called are not necessarily non-qualifiers, they just have yet to be confirmed. These random sets of three continue until nine qualifiers have been confirmed, although no country will be shown more than three times.
Once the nine qualifiers have been confirmed, then all the remaining artists will be shown one by one and the final qualifier will be announced.
