The EBU has confirmed that 38 countries will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel.
This is an increase of one country from the 2023 edition in Sweden, with Montenegro being the returning country and no countries withdrawing.
The 32 countries that will compete in the semi-finals will find out which semi-final they will take part in on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, in the Allocation Draw.
The EBU has also confirmed that the cut-off date for songs to be submitted to the EBU will be mid-March.
